Hanoi – In preparation for the activities to commemorate the annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people (29 November), Ambassador Saadi Salama and staff of Palestine Embassy in Hanoi had separate meetings with the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organization and the Vietnam Committee of Solidarity with the Palestinian people on 11th and 18th November 2015.

At these meetings, the Embassy and the friendship organizations of Vietnam have discussed and agreed on plans to celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people of the year 2015. The commemoration meeting is scheduled to be held on 4th December 2015.

The annual International Day for Solidarity with the Palestinian People is an opportunity for the international community to better understand the country and people of Palestine, and to express the solidarity and strong support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom and independence.
